Portrait of Charlotte Savage, Brooklyn-based filmmaker and video editor.

I’m a video editor, artist, and filmmaker with 10+ years of experience in commercial, short form documentary, and branded content. I studied Film and Television at SCAD before heading to New York, where I spent over six years cutting national campaigns at Warner Bros. Discovery’s branded content studio, Courageous.

At Courageous, I led post on work for brands like Amazon, Target, and Chevy. Since going independent, I have edited branded and commercial projects for Delta Airlines and Princeton. Along the way, my work has picked up Webbys, Smarties, ARC Awards, Digiday Awards, and Brand Film Awards.

Outside of branded work, I cut music videos, experimental films, and independent docs. Most recently, I was an editor on On The Way Home, a feature documentary that premiered at Slamdance and won the Charles E. Guggenheim Emerging Artist Award at Full Frame, along with Best Editing at the DOC LA Film Festival.

I split my time between Brooklyn and Tbilisi. If I’m not editing, I’m probably out dancing, hosting a dinner party, cuddling cats, or plotting whatever comes next.
